This event will be well publicized, including
road signs, website, invitations to other parishes, and concurrent advertising
at other sales that day.
Set up is Friday, April 11, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Table Renter Pre-Sale is Saturday, April 12,
2008, from 8 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. During this time, Table Renters will be allowed to presale at each others’ tables After that, you are to be at your table to sell items to the outside shoppers.
Table Renters will be provided a 6-foot table and 2 chairs from which to sell items. You must keep your items in the area assigned to you and not have items protruding into the walkways where they may cause someone to fall or trip.
You may rent space for a rack; however, renters must provide their own racks, and the racks must fit into the space provided. Oversized (5 foot or more) or double sided racks will be charged extra and will only be allowed if space permits.
You are responsible for pricing and tagging your own items and arranging them in an attractive and orderly manner. This will help you sell your items.
There will be a Large Item Area for cribs, exersaucers, strollers, large toys, etc. If you have large items for sale, a list must be provided by April 4, 2008 with each item's description, including color, manufacturer and a price. These items may not be kept at your table.
Large items must be clean; clothing should be freshly laundered and free of stains.
You are expected to provide your own money to use for change, bags to place
sold items in, and safety pins to secure items in sets.
You are expected to act as your own security. The church and its
volunteers are not responsible if items or money are stolen or damaged.
Due to church policy, franchised businesses (e.g., Tupperware, Pampered Chef,
Discovery Toys, Creative Memories, etc.) will not be permitted to rent table space.
Home-based crafts are permitted.
If you bring children with you to the sale, you are responsible for your own child care and for keeping
your children supervised.
No strollers (except those for sale) will be allowed in the building during the event.
Table renters agree to remain at the sale until noon. Renters may not
pack up items before 11:45 a.m. This is for the benefit of those customers
traveling between multiple sales.
Refreshments and snacks will be available for Table Renters to purchase.
There is no smoking allowed in the building.
Please leave parking spots close to the church open for customers.
Deposits and signed contracts must be received by
April 5, 2008.
Deposit will be refunded if the event is canceled on or before by
April 5, 2008.
Table Rental:
$15 each
Rack Space (available with Table Rental only):
$3.00 each (one Rack Space per Table Rental/renters provide own rack)
Large Item Area:
10% of the item's final sale price (payment for Large Item Area rental ONLY will be due
April 12th from the proceeds of items' sale)
Non-table-renters can place large items for sale in the Large Item Area for
one time fee of $5 plus 10% of the final sale price of each item sold.
