OUR HISTORY |

|
MOMS Club was orginally founded by Mary James in 1983. She was a stay-at-home mother in California and was tired of being alone at home, she wanted to meet other at-home mothers with children for her children to play with. When she discovered no such organization existed, she decided to start her own organization just for at-home motheres, and the MOMS Club was born. There are now over 2000 chapters and 100,000 members in the United States with International chapters forming as well. MOMS Club of Berkley, MI was founded by Jennifer, whom is still a member, in February of 2001. We were orginally MOMS Club of Berkley and Royal Oak, but in July of 2004, we sistered into two seperate chapters when our membership grew to over 50 members! Our current membership consitst of 25 members and is open to Berkley, Beverly Hills, Huntington Woods and Bingham Farms residents. |
