Celebrate fall with a warm drink

Citrus Tea Blend "Friendship Tea"

Mix together: 1 1/3 c. Tang
• 1/4 c. imitation lemonade mix w/sugar included
• 3/4 c. instant tea
• 1 t. ground cinnamon
• 3/4 t. ground cloves
• 1/4 t. nutmeg

Mix 1 T. with 6 oz. boiling water, most mugs hold 10-12 oz.

I recall eating apples in the fall

Apple Wedge Dip

Beat together: 8 oz cream cheese - room temp
2 T Miracle Whip
Stir in: 1 c. finely chopped dates
1- 7 oz can crushed pineapple -save juice
1/2 c chopped pecans
1 - 2 T pineapple juice - to desired consistency.

Cover and refrigerate to “ripen”.  Serve with apple wedges that have been dipped in pineapple juice or lemon juice to prevent darkening
