"Aftermath" is a 90 minute "comedy with heart" that was shot in and around Chicago. Boasting a cast of over 20 local players, it tells the fast-paced story of two brothers struggling against an off-beat, media savvy villain who refers to himself as "The Baron". To overcome this unique challenge, they must walk the fine line between "being heroes" and "doing what's right".
The film uses a tongue-in-cheek style to mimic today's popular action films by posing the question, "What would really happen if the everyday guy on the street actually tried to stop a bank robbery?" And although the film uses satire, it still also plays well as a traditional hero's tale, complete with a satisfying ending.
