Another small update: Timing belt is on!

This is a 155T belt and the old-style tensioner/pulley. If you look, you'll see the tensioner and pulley aren't connected. The belt is tight enough to not need the tensioner, so I'm just going to make it a fixed pulley. The tensioner is shown, but I did not use it.

With this setup, the cam pulley is 1/2 tooth off, so I may have to come up with an adjustable pulley. I've been told the 16V 2.0s use the same cam pulley......

And yes, the hood does close with plenty of clearance :)

Here's some pics of the wastegate actuator bracket, I had to hack it up quite a bit to get it to fit with the rotated compressor housing.

This is a what-not-to-do pic. The oil return fitting hit the bolt for the wastegate actuator bracket. I had to grind the head of the bolt down to get it to fit. And yes, the line does fit with no problems.

Here is the piping I'll be using for the downpipe and turbo plumbing. I'm still waiting for the silicone connectors, should be in this week.

The box they came in:

One small problem I came across is the turbo oil feed line has an NPT type fitting, but the oil housing has a PG (metric) thread. I need to come up with some kind of adapter for it.
