I am an independent flight instructor,
operating under Macomb Aviation, LLC. I teach
part time, primarily at Oakland Pontiac Airport .
Mostly I'm affiliated with Oakland
Flight Academy,Inc.
The school has excellent fleets of rental aircraft available and a staff of
high quality instructors. We will have the program you're looking
for. I am also available for instruction in your single-engine
airplane.
I started flying and received my private pilot certificate in
1977 at Mckinley Airport in Fraser Michigan. I added an instrument
rating in 1980, followed by a commercial rating in 1983. I am
going on 24 years as a Certificated Flight Instructor. I am
currently A FAAST Team Representative and the Chief Training and Safety Officer for the
Macomb
County Sheriff Aviation Unit, and have
been privileged to server the community I live in as well as teach the joys of private, instrument, and
commercial flight to others.

Flight Instruction
"Introductory
Flight"
The only way for you to experience a flight. Just Do it!
We recommend that you begin your flying experience with our
special package, which includes a basic Introductory Flight.
Whether you're serious about flight training, or still debating if this is
for you, the Introductory Flight is the perfect place to start.
Here's what you'll receive
- About 30 minutes of ground instruction, where you'll be introduced
to the basics of how an airplane flies.
- Then you'll get your chance at the controls with about 40 minutes of
flight instruction. I will be your certified flight instructor (CFI)
and will show you the basic maneuvers of how to effectively control an
aircraft while in flight.
- A Post-Flight Briefing at which your instructor will discuss any
questions you may have about the flight training process.
You'll be well on your way to fulfilling your dream of becoming a
Private Pilot!
The cost of an Introductory Flight in a Cessna 172 is around $125.00.
(additional passengers: $10.00 per person).
