Best thing about school: Its exciting & fun. There are many adults supervising with high school students involved in the kid's play.

Worst thing about school: It always made me nervous having my little guy at a big high school.

Teacher qualifications: Plymouth Canton Community Preschool Teachers are well-educated & well-trained. Professional development is a continuing responsibility for them. They're great.

Typical daily routine: Circle time, discussions, play at different stations, themes, music, dance, kindergarten readiness & lots of peer socialization.

Philosophy that informs curriculum: Children will learn at their own pace. They shouldn't be "pushed" at this age. When children misbehave, they are encouraged to "make another choice".

Opportunities for parent involvement: Limited... there are observation rooms. You get a "special day" with your child in his classroom around his birthday. You get two conferences with his teachers. The first day is a parent/child day together.

Discipline: Again... "make another choice". Removing the child from the situation and redirecting him.

Building and play space information: It's tucked away in Canton High School with a separate entrance/exit. It's a bright, vibrant, learning enriched playspace with many toys. They do some outdoor activities when whether permits.
